Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how StoresWiki LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our websites and services. StoresWiki LLC, Lewes, Delaware, USA. Governing law: the State of Delaware, USA. Contact: [email protected].
Data we collect
Contact details you submit (name, email, phone, message), and standard technical data (IP, browser, pages viewed) used to operate and secure our services.
How we use it
To respond to enquiries, provide and improve our services, ensure security, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
Legal basis
We process data on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract, and our legitimate interests in operating the business. Where you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR (and UK GDPR) applies to that processing.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, and object to processing, by emailing [email protected].
Retention & security
We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and protect it with encryption, access controls, and regular backups.
Newsletters
Our websites offer weekly email newsletters. We send one only after you confirm your address with the link in the confirmation email (double opt-in), and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link. We keep your email address, the newsletter you chose and a record of your consent (when, and with which wording); your IP address is kept only as a keyed hash, as evidence of that consent. We set no cookies and record no opens or clicks.
The emails are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service in the European Union (Frankfurt), which processes your address on our behalf. A sign-up you never confirm is deleted after 7 days. 30 days after you unsubscribe, your address is deleted and only a pseudonymous record of the consent is kept, for 3 years.
Connected platform accounts
Our video tools (StoresWiki Channels, StoresWiki Studio and ChannelForge) publish videos to social platforms for the account owner who connects them. You sign in on the platform's own page and grant permission there; we never see your password.
YouTube (YouTube API Services): we upload the videos you made with our tools to your channel, with their captions and playlists, and read your channel's name, handle and id and the statistics of the videos we uploaded. Facebook, Instagram and Threads (Meta): we post to the Pages, accounts and profiles you select, and read their names and ids and the insights of the posts we published. TikTok: we post the videos you choose with the privacy and interaction settings you pick, and read your display name, avatar and the posting options TikTok allows your account. LinkedIn and X: we post to your profile or account and read your name or username and id.
We use this data only to publish the videos you asked us to publish and to report their performance to you; we do not sell it or use it for advertising. Access tokens are kept on our servers in the European Union, readable only by the publishing service, until you disconnect the account; we delete them within 30 days after that.
You can revoke our access at any time on the platform: Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions; TikTok in Settings → Security → Apps; Facebook, Instagram and Threads in Settings → Apps and Websites; LinkedIn in Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services; X in Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions.
By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn and X apply their own terms and privacy policies to your accounts.
